Erasmus+ at WSZOP
Erasmus itself is a huge challenge and also a tremendous experience for everyone across Europe to explore the country where he/she decided to go. When it comes to my own experience, I chose Poland for starting a new chapter in my life. I knew that this amazing experience would change my life in a better way. At the beginning of my Erasmus journey I was quite nervous about language barrier, Polish culture and people’s thoughts about foreigners but during my stay here I realized despite the fact that we have tons of cultural differences, we can still be kind to each other. But it was not the only thing that made me love Poland. Perhaps my biggest luck was being surrounded by people who were willing to help me. Words cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at WSZOP and especially to my Erasmus coordinators.
In addition to these, there are more things to tell about living in Katowice, Poland. Katowice is located in the middle of Europe. It is a developing city which has good location for travel. If you are an Erasmus student in here, you can easily travel all around Europe by trains and buses. It has an airport and it is another advantage. Apart from its location, there are lots of different ways to have fun in here. Not only I went to clubs and bars but also to parks to relax and to have some fresh air (mostly Silesia park). Personally, I had so much fun in this vibrant city of Katowice.
During my Erasmus I had the opportunity to visit some cities in Poland such as Krakow, Wroclaw and Lodz. I was impressed by their history, architecture and culture. I hope I can find a way to come back to this lovely country once more to explore other places.
